Debatable Thesis: Humans Are Instinctive - Not Rationally
It has been a debate amongst evolutionary theorists that humans, being the 'thinkers' of the animal kingdom, should think logically. On the other hand, we have the argument that human nature is so good that we need to think logically, too. I would like to throw the debatable thesis to one side, for I think that humans are logical, and that we always will be. I would argue that most humans are rational, and I would even say most of us would rather think logically than make decisions based on emotion.
This certainly doesn't mean that we should run our lives based on instinct, but most modern people do have certain instincts and will work with them if they are in our best interest. So we need to be sure that we avoid having emotional decisions because this can damage our intellectual life.
Humans need to think logically to deal with situations, but in the past, humans did not. They simply chose the decision and acted on it. They chose the response and ended up wasting time and energy.
